Resident District Manager
Christian was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and has lived in 10 states and 2 foreign countries. He has spent the most time in Missouri over the years and attended University of Missouri. He also attended Syracuse University, University of Reims-Ardenne and completed his formal culinary training at Escoffier Ecole de Gastronomie in Paris, France. He has worked in the food service industry for over 40 years and saw an opportunity to help transform an environment to a destination and create a sought after eating experience here at Springfield College. He loves creating dishes with thought and intention and takes great pride in the satisfaction of the customer. In his free time he enjoys learning about food and listening to live music. He once managed a blues band and has also seen B.B. King 7 times. Fun fact: Christian once cooked for the Neville Brothers!
Guest Experience Manager
Hannah grew up in Avon, Connecticut and attended Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts with a B.S. in Hospitality Management and concentration in Event Management. She has worked in the Hospitality Industry for 8 years and has a true passion for people. She has always found jobs teaching and serving others including becoming a Certified Swim Instructor, Certified Waterfront Lifeguard on Cape Cod, and a Ski Instructor, teaching students of all ages. In her free time she enjoys hanging with family and friends, and meeting new people. She hopes to spend more time seeing the world and dreams of taking a trip to Australia. Fun Facts: Hannah once threw out the first pitch at a Red Sox game and has met Taylor Swift on several occasions!
Health and Wellness Manager
Hailey is from Great Neck, New York and attended Boston University with a degree in psychology. She received her second bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Joseph in Nutrition and Dietetics. She also completed her clinical training at Yale New Haven Hospital. In her free time she enjoys playing the piano, cooking, traveling, and going for walks with her husband and dog Brady. She once went snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia even though she has a terrible fear of sharks, it was absolutely worth it. Fun fact: She sat next to 50 cent at a boxing match in Hartford a few year back. He was super nice! What’s one dream she has? To play duet on stage at Madison Square Garden with Billy Joel.
With nearly three decades of culinary experience, Chef Bill has provided culinary delights and guest experiences to a wide range of guests. From entertainment professionals and high profile guests to those he served in his families restaurant while back in high school, he has always put the satisfaction of his guests first. “Cooking for others is the most personal and rewarding experience I can think of”, say Chef Reardon. He began working at the age of 15 cleaning tables and doing dishes for a local family owned Italian restaurant. He soon found a strong passion for working in kitchens and that was only compounded when his family purchased their own restaurant. Several years later after pursuing an education in culinary arts, Chef Bill went to work in a Bavarian style restaurant focusing on classic French service. Several years later Chef Bill would go to work at the Marriott Hartford Downtown as Chef de Cuisine overseeing the award winning restaurant, Vivo Seasonal Trattoria and the hotels 409 guest rooms. Several years more would result in him being promoted to the Executive Chef position overseeing all food and beverage operations in the Convention Centers hotel including all banquet and catering. Over the 12 years working there, he shared with his team an impressive number of accolades and awards with his highest achievement being the 2012 National ACFs award for ‘Achievement of Excellence’. Chef continues to push for exceptional guest experience with his team here at Springfield College and looks to continuously challenge him and the team to exceed all expectations.
Fun fact; In his spare time, Chef enjoys traveling, being near the water and mountain biking in VT while exploring the local restaurants for new trends.
With over two decades of professional culinary experience, Chef Walls has traveled the country cooking at prominent functions including a yearly stint at the prestigious Tennis Associations US Open. Chef Chris learned at an early age what the culinary industry entailed while working alongside his father who was a classically trained chef. Chef Chris recalls his father advising him to not follow in his footsteps due to the demands of the profession, only resulting in making him more driven to make his own way and after years of learning under his father would eventually enroll in culinary school to pursue his own goals. Shortly after graduating from the CT Culinary Institute, Chef traveled to Ogunquit Maine where he quickly rose to the rank of banquet sous chef. Chef continued his career over the years working in both corporate dining and higher education accounts before joining the Sheraton Hotel brand as a sous chef. After several years, he was promoted to the level of Executive Chef where he implemented his own style of cuisine resulting in a surge to the hotels guest satisfaction scores. Chef would eventually join a corporate catering account allowing him to travel the country hosting exciting high profile events and rounding out his culinary experiences. Now with Harvest Table, Chef Walls looks forward to sharing his vast experiences and culinary delights with the students and faculty here at Springfield College.
Fun Fact: Chef enjoys his off time cooking with his family and putting miles on his Harley Davidson.
Roger grew up in Springfield and attended Johnson and Wales University. He has worked at Springfield College for 11 years and has spent a total of 46 years in the Hospitality Industry. He enjoys the customer satisfaction and daily gratification that the industry provides. He was even able to meet Emeril Lagasse and Paul Newman! Outside of work he enjoys outdoor activities and hopes to travel more in the future.
Director of Catering
Tabitha is from Mystic, Connecticut and attended the University of Southern Florida. She has worked in the hospitality industry for over 25 years and loves being able to feed people and make them happy. She loves Springfield College because of the atmosphere and the great energy the students, faculty, and staff bring to campus. In her free time she enjoys hiking and hopes to travel to the Galapagos one day. What is the scariest thing she’s ever done? Tabitha told us she once snorkeled the continental divide! If you see her around campus, ask her about anything music related, she knows an abundance of music trivia and she is also fluent in Swedish!
Mary is from Somers, Connecticut and went to school at Springfield College. She has worked at Springfield for 18 years and truly loves working with such a great group of people at the school. Outside of work Mary enjoys camping, spending time with family and eating Spanakopita. She loves to be in nature and believes that life is a gift. Mary’s role model is her mother who came from a family of seven and made everything she did appear easy. Fun fact: Mary knows a lot about Egyptian Mummification!
